First year field hockey stand out Jess Davidson was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America second team.
She is the first All-American honoree from IUP since the 2012 season. The native of Nelson, New Zealand scored 13 goals and logged three assists in her debut season with the Crimson Hawks, including three game-winning goals. Her 27 points are the highest single-season total for IUP since 2012.
She was also named to the Synapse Sports Division II all-rookie team, while her teammate, Roos van Herel was named to the all-rookie team.
