It’s a busy day today at the Indiana County Courthouse, with a number of court proceedings. There will be a couple of non-jury trials conducted, and nine defendants are scheduled for sentencing.
The sentencings were originally slated for next Friday, but have been moved up to today, according to the court schedule.
The defendants include:
- 51-year-old Robert Stillwagon of Indiana, for simple assault and harassment, with non-prosecution for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
- 39-year-old Shawn Lydick of Plumville, who will be sentenced for driving under suspended license, with marijuana possession charges not prosecuted.
- 30-year-old Kadeem Meggett of Indiana, for contempt for violation of a court order.
- 49-year-old Samuel Slicker of Vandergrift, for DUI, with non-prosecution for possession and for summary traffic charges.
- 21-year-old Joshua Miller of Indiana, for simple assault, with non-prosecution for aggravated harassment by a prisoner.
- 33-year-old Patrick Palmer of Seward, for theft.
- 31-year-old Joshua Hogans of Altoona, for possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.
- 29-year-old Travis Kirbaugh of Punxsutawney, for failure to register with state police as a convicted sex offender.
- 34-year-old Nathan Pritt of Clymer, for simple assault, with non-prosecution for strangulation, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
The non-jury trials on the schedule today are for 34-year-old Dexter Gladney Jr. of Indiana, for two counts of contempt for violation of a court order; and 25-year-old Jacob Harris of Derry, for terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct.
