IUP
IUP wide receiver Duane Brown continues to pick up honors. Yesterday he was named an Associated Press second-team All-American.
The 2022 Harlon Hill Trophy nominee finished in the top five of active Division Two players in career receiving yards, with 2,884. He averaged 16.39 yards per reception and had an average of over 100 yards receiving per game.
PITT
After being named a consensus All-American on Tuesday with his fourth first team All-American designation, Pitt’s Calijah Kancey is now a unanimous All-American. He was named first-team All-American yesterday by the AFCA coaches. Kancey is a finalist for college football’s Outland Trophy and Bronko Nagurski Trophy.
Ironically, he may have trouble picking up all of his hardware. He will miss Pitt’s appearance in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl on December 30th because of a shoulder injury.
