BOYS BASKETBALL
In a game heard on Cat Country, 106.3 FM last night, River Valley continued its early-season surge with a win over Purchase Line.

River Valley head coach Don Stitt said his team started slow defensively but turned it around later in the game.
Junior Luke Woodring finished with 13 points and said the win was a result of strong team chemistry.
Fellow junior Dom Speal said this win was big for the Panthers.
Portage easily handled Homer-Center after the Wildcats took a first quarter lead. The final, 58-30.
After not scoring in the first quarter, Brad Felix erupted for 11 in the second period and finished the game with 28 points as United brought down Cambria Heights, 56-40. Felix was the only Lions’ player in double figures. Parker Farabaugh had 17 for the Highlanders.
Northern Cambria’s Ty Dumm scored 15 points and Peyton Myers added 10 to lead the Colts over Marion Center, 41-17.
Penns Manor knocked off West Shamokin, 53-40.
Trailing at the end of three quarters, Indiana put together a 13-5 fourth period to defeat Punxsutawney, 51-47. Stanford Webb led the Indians with 17 points and Jaden Petrovich added 10. For Punxsy, Ryan Heigley scored 26.
WRESTLING
Chalk up the first wrestling win of the season for Indiana, which took out Riverview, 54-16 in a Section match. Indiana’s winners on the mat last night were Nico Fanella, Carter Putt, Jacob Snyder, Tuscan Blystone, Will Turner, Dominic Fanella, Michael Dolan, Alvin Liu, Brandyn Parcell, and Griffin Prebish.
