Indiana County’s Magisterial District Courts have a light schedule for today, but there are four preliminary hearings set for today.
They include a hearing for Valerie Woods, a 42-year-old from Commodore who is charged with Felony Manufacture, Delivery or Possession with intent to deliver, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop made in Clymer on August 3rd. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Kent Wagner. The officer making the stop noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Wagner gave his consent for the vehicle to be searched. Officers found meth pipes, nine bags of suspected crystal meth, two suboxone strips, a half of a suboxone pill, a phone, two scales, several “owe sheets”, four small bags of marijuana, two marijuana cigars, six pills marked Adderall, a needle, six THC vapes, and other items along with $181 in cash. Wagner waived his charges to court at a preliminary hearing in October.
Also due for a preliminary hearing today are:
- Michael Vincent Brumberg, a 41-year-old man from DuBois, who is charged with trespassing and false ID to a law enforcement officer.
- Kierra Noelle Mays, a 22-year-old woman from Pittsburgh who is charged with DUI and summary driving offenses for an incident on October 6th.
- Eric Lee Tinker, a 33-year-old DuBois man who is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia for an incident on September 14th.
