The Pittsburgh Penguins close out 2019 against the Ottawa Senators at PPG Paints Arena on Monday night.
The Penguins, 23-11-4 overall and 15-4-2 at home, are winners of six of their last seven games and nine of their last 11. With a win against Nashville on Saturday, the Penguins moved into second place in the Metropolitan Division but dropped back to third place with a win by the New York Islanders on Sunday.
Ottawa was 16-18-4 in the Atlantic Division going into Sunday’s action.
