The Penguins blew a 4-1 lead, but Jake Guentzel scored a go-ahead power play goal with 1:03 left in the third period and Bryan Rust added an empty net goal for a 6-4 win and a sweep of a two-game home-and-home series over Nashville.
Pittsburgh jumped to a 3-0 first period lead and led 4-1 in the second before the Predators scored the final two goals of the second period and added a game-tying score in the third.
Rust scored two goals for the Penguins, who also got scores from Alex Galchenyuk, Kris Letang, and Dominik Kahun. Matt Murray made 44 saves for the Penguins to earn the win.
