IUP junior guard Justina Mascaro yesterday was named PSAC Western Division Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. She averaged 27.5 points and eight rebounds while shooting 62.9 percent from the floor in IUP’s wins over Shepherd and Shippensburg. Mascaro had 23 points and five rebounds in the Friday night win at Shepherd, and followed up on Saturday with a career-high 32 points and eleven boards.
Mascaro’s 13.8 points per game leads 10-1 IUP, which next hits the floor on Friday, January 3rd at the KCAC against Lock Haven.
