The Penguins have returned home after the western Canada road swing, where they went 2-1, including Saturday’s loss at Vancouver.
Pittsburgh is in fourth place in the Metro, and the Penguins have some time off this week. The NHL is on its holiday break, so the team can’t practice or play until they’re back on the ice Friday night in Nashville against the Predators.
Yesterday, the Penguins returned forwards Joseph Blandisi and Thomas DiPauli, and defenseman Kevin Czuczman to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
