The Purchase Line School Board is scheduled to meet tonight and the 2023 budget is on the agenda.
Along with a budget discussion led by business manager Abby Romagna, the board will look to approve a resolution saying that taxes for the 2023-24 fiscal year will not go up by more than the adjusted index established by the Pennsylvania department of education in the amount of 6.1 percent.
Several hirings are also on the agenda including head and assistant coaching positions for baseball and track and an assistant coaching position for boys’ basketball for this season. The board will also consider two revised policies: one for attendance and one for graduation.
