The Indiana School Board is scheduled to meet tonight, and while there is no planned action on the bond issue for the Ben Franklin project that was shelved, there are still a lot of items on the agenda.
Among the items on the Agenda is the resignation of Dale Kirsch as the District Superintendent. Kirsch has been a part of the school district since 2008 when he was named the business manager. He took over as the District’s superintendent when Dr. Deborah Clawson stepped down as the district Superintendent. Clawson currently serves as a board member.
Also on the agenda tonight is a motion to make the bid documents for the proposed Ben Franklin Elementary Project available to the public for inspection. And the board will also look to approve air quality testing for mold and asbestos at all six district buildings. Recent complaints of mold at Ben Franklin Elementary has prompted this action.
The meeting starts tonight at 7:30 at the District Offices at East Pike.
