At last night’s meeting, the Homer-Center School board got an update on the stairwell project.
Facilities supervisor Edward Sutter said that the project is very nearly complete, with just a few minor things that still need to be done. A final walk-through of the new stairwell will be done next week. However, Sutter said that Tom Harley will return to the school district to assess some possible future projects.
In other business, the board approved hiring several musicians for this weekend’s performance of the musical “Cinderella”, and the board welcomed new members Joseph Izzei, Jr., Christa Pontani-Palmer and Michael Schmidt, who took part in their first full meeting last night.
