State police say a 56-year-old Blairsville man told them he was “not drunk, just impaired” after an accident just before eleven o’clock on Monday morning in Burrell Township. The man, whose name has not been released, lost control of his SUV while traveling on Route 217, leaving the road was and becoming stuck in a yard. Police say the man told them he had “taken two Percocets and missed the curve.”

A 30-year-old Saltsburg man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop Tuesday evening on Route 22 at Cornell Road in Burrell Township. State police seized suspected heroin and related drug paraphernalia and determined that the man was DUI.
CLYMER BOROUGH
Clymer Borough Police have filed charges against a Glen Campbell man after a traffic stop Monday evening near the Route 286/Diamondville Road intersection. Police say the man, who is not publicly identified, had a glass meth pipe filled with suspected methamphetamine.
