The Steelers’ TJ Watt was absent from practice yesterday as he continues to deal with sore ribs. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson sat out with a hip injury and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi also was sidelined, with a toe injury.
Running back Najee Harris and offensive tackle Chuks Okorafor returned in a limited capacity. Linebacker Malik Reed returned and was a full participant.
Also returning to practice yesterday was kicker Chris Boswell, who has been out with a groin injury since the October 30th game against the Eagles. The team has 21 days to activate Boswell from injured reserve or they will either have to put him on season-ending IR, or release him.
The Steelers play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. Defensive lineman Cam Heyward says it is always a very physically demanding game against Baltimore.
Heyward says the Ravens have a potent offense, whether star quarterback Lamar Jackson plays or not.
Heyward had his normal scheduled Thursday off day yesterday. Sunday’s game kicks off at 1 o’clock, with the pregame on WDAD airing at noon.
