One person had a suspected minor injury in a crash on Route 119 in Center Township on Saturday. State police say at 10:06 AM, 55-year-old Beverley Williams of Bridgeville ran the red light at 119 just south of Lucerne Road and crashed into an SUV driven by 33-year-old Joseph Bernardo of Lucernemines as it was crossing the intersection. He and his passenger, 29-year-old Ashley Turner, also of Lucernemines, were not hurt in the crash. Williams was taken to IRMC for treatment by Citizens Ambulance. State police say that Homer City Fire Department assisted on-scene.
State police are investigating a theft in Homer City in mid-November. Troopers say on November 17th, someone broke into the home of a 47-year-old man on South Main Street in Homer City and took an iPhone 8 Plus and fled the area undetected. The value of the stolen phone is $500. If you have any information on the theft, contact state police in Indiana at 724-357-1960.
