State police say that a man implicated in two thefts near Lucernemines has been identified thanks to someone seeing his picture in the news media.
Troopers say that they were looking to identify a man who shoplifted a bottle of Yellowtail Reisling and some Budweiser Amber Lager on December 1st at 10:25 AM at the Sheetz near Homer City. He left the store without paying for it.
Police are saying that the suspect in this shoplifting incident may also be the person who drove to the Venard’s Crossroads Convienence Store in Lucernemines and pumped $35 worth of gas and drove off without paying.
State police have not released that man’s name as charges against him at this time are pending.
