At the Monday night meeting, the Center township supervisors once again requested that citizens be mindful of road crews as they start snow removal work for the winter season.
Residents are reminded to make sure that all road signs are obeyed, and they are asking people to refrain from parking and placing basketball hoops on township right of ways during the plowing season to make things easier for the drivers. The township also requested on behalf of the fire departments that citizens keep fire hydrants cleared out for easy access by first responders.
The supervisors briefly discuss the budget for next year. Supervisors chairman Matthew Housholder said that the budget will not contain any tax increases for township residents.
The township will approve the budget at a special meeting on December 21st at 10:00 a.m.
