Center Township Supervisors met yesterday and they announced that paving is done for the year for the township’s road crews.
During last night’s meeting, Supervisors president Dave Smyers said that the hot mix plant where they get their paving materials has shut down for the season, but road crews still have a bit of work to do.
He also announced that the preliminary budget was approved during November’s payroll meeting, which is a public meeting, and the budget is now on display at the township office. The budget contains no tax increases. The budget is expected to be given formal approval at their next payroll meeting on December 19th.
