Gas price averages across the state remained the same, while the average in Indiana County fell.
The average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline across Pennsylvania is $2.79 a gallon, according to AAA. That is the same as it was last week. In Indiana County, however, the average cost of a gallon of gas is now at $2.87 a gallon, which is a decrease of five cents a gallon from last week, when it was $2.92 a gallon.
Among surrounding counties, Indiana tied with Westmoreland and Jefferson counties at $2.87 a gallon. Armstrong County’s average gas price is $2.86 a gallon, Cambria County checked in at $2.89 a gallon and Clearfield County checked in at $2.92 a gallon.
The highest average in the state is Warren County at $2.95 a gallon, while Berks County had the lowest gas price average in the state with $2.68 a gallon.
