On Thursday night, the Homer-Center School Board held its annual reorganization meeting.
No changes were made to the leadership of the board, with Michael Bertig elected the president of the board and Dr. Christa Pontani Palmer was reelected vice president. Bertig talked about what he looks forward to in the new year.
In other business, the board approved a new meeting schedule. The academic committee, planning and voting meetings will remain on the same schedule, but the buildings and grounds committee meeting will change to 6:00 PM on the night of the voting meeting. The policy committee will meet as needed.
The board will meet again later this month for the regular voting meeting December 15th at 7:30 PM.
