A documentary film that was shot in Indiana will be screened at IRMC Park on Friday.
The Center for Community Growth will host an in-progress screening of their documentary “Thunderdome USA” on Friday starting just after Sunset at IRMC Park in Downtown Indiana. The film will focus on local and national politics as it looks at grass-roots efforts and political campaigns from 2012 to 2016. The film follows the stories of several Indiana County residents involved in local politics. While the people were not identified by name, the media release says some of the people profiled include “a Tea Party candidate for Indiana County Commissioner, a Democratic Campaign Manager, and a progressive local rights activist from Grant Township.” Their stories will help tell the overall story about how Donald Trump win Pennsylvania and ultimately the presidential election.
After the film screening, a Q and A session will be held at the Brown Hotel with filmmaker Lee Ziesche. If you plan on going, you are encouraged to bring a lawnchair as bench space may be at a premium.
