A fire last week in Robinson was ruled accidental by state police fire marshals.
State troopers say they were called out to 180 Caroline Street in West Wheatfield Township on November 19th to investigate the cause of a fire after multiple fire crews from Westmoreland and Indiana Counties were called in to help fight the fire. Bolivar, New Florence, and Fairfield Firefighters and Citizens Ambulance were all called out to the scene. The home belonged to Michael Malnofsky, a 69-year-old man from Bolivar. The cause of the fire was electrical in nature, and fire marshals ruled the fire as an accident.
Police say the fire caused $20,000 in damage.
