Another person has been charged in connection with a drug-related case out of Clymer borough.
Clymer Borough Police are now charging Valerie Woods of Commodore. She faces a felony count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in connection from a bust that happened during a traffic stop on August 3rd.
In that traffic stop, Woods was a passenger in a car driven by a man identified as Kent Wagner. A Clymer police officer conducted the traffic stop at the intersection of Franklin Street and Elm Avenue in Clymer Borough. When the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from Wagner, the officer asked him if he could search the vehicle. When Wagner consented, the Clymer officer requested assistance from the Indiana Borough police. After initially finding a meth pipe, the officers found nine bags of suspected crystal methamphetamine worth more than $1000, two meth pipes, two suboxone strips, a half of a suboxone pill, a phone, two scales, several “owe sheets,” four small bags of marijuana, two “joint style” marijuana cigars, six pills marked Adderall, a needle, six THC vapes, other items of drug paraphernalia and $181 in cash.
Wagner faces charges of simple possession and possession with intent to deliver, along with summary traffic offenses, and will have his formal arraignment in front of Judge Michael Clark later today. Woods is now in Cambria County Jail.
