Megan D. Hill, 36, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
A daughter of Jack A. and Jessie W. Harvey Smicklo, Sr., she was born Oct. 24, 1983, in Indiana.
Megan was a graduate of Indiana High School. She was also a graduate the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Culinary School and continued her education at IUP, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and dietetics. Megan was a member of the American Legion auxiliary and the Eagles auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, camping, going to Wildwood, NJ., and her dog, Oliver, aka Shady Eyes.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Hill, of Indiana; her parents, Jack and Jessie Smicklo, Sr., of Indiana; a brother, Jack A. Smicklo, Jr. and wife Alex, of Clymer; a sister: Angie Stormer and husband Jonathon, of Creekside; her father and mother-in-law, Nelson and Jan Hill, of Indiana; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Hill and wife Christina, of State College; Greg Hill and wife Annah, of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private visitation was held for the family. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Robinson-Lytle, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
