The Homer-Center School Board got an update on the stairwell project at the Junior-Senior High School.
Facilities supervisor Edward Sutter said that the stairs are being used in the school, and the stairwell itself just needs a few other things to be done before it can be called complete.
In other business, it was the last board meeting for outgoing Superintendent Charles Koren. The members of the board lauded Koren for his years of service to the Homer-Center School District. Koren credited all of those who helped him during his career.
The board has also voted to move their December meeting to Thursday, December 12th.
