State troopers yesterday conducted Megan’s Law compliance checks of 76 residential addresses in Indiana County, and found 59 registered sex offenders who were in compliance with the terms of their sentences. However, they started four non-compliance investigations, and served one non-compliance warrant.
The troopers are all members of the Indiana Station Criminal Investigation Unit and the State Police Megan’s Law Section. They were unable to contact the residents at several addresses and will be revisiting those addresses in the future.
No details were released on any of the non-compliant offenders.
