State police at the Indiana barracks have released very little information on a death in White Township. Police say only that the victim is a 54-year-old Indiana man who passed away at a location on Woodridge Court in White Township on November 1st at 7:04 PM. The death has been ruled accidental.
Police report three retail theft investigations:
- 45-year-old Jacqueline Lane of DuBois, Clearfield County, and 21-year-old Harlie Cowie of Brookville, Jefferson County, are facing charges for allegedly stealing items from the Sally Beauty Supply store along Oakland Avenue in White Township. Police say the two women concealed $330 worth of items on November 4th. Lane was taken into custody on the scene and placed in the Indiana County Jail. She’s charged with retail theft and resisting arrest and is free on $15,000 bond. Cowie is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. She was able to evade apprehension and is wanted by police, who obtained a warrant for her arrest.
- 39-year-old Zachary Graham of Johnstown is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property in a shoplifting case from the White Township Walmart. Police say Graham stole $206 worth it items on October 25th.
- Police have not publicly identified the 33-year-old Murrysville man who is accused of stealing a Dewalt miter saw from the Lowes store in White Township on November 6th. The saw is valued at $199.
Indiana Borough Police say someone forced open a door, damaging the jamb at a residence in the 700 block of Shryock Avenue sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon.
