It’s move-in day today for IUP freshman who will be living in three of the residence halls. Students are scheduled to move in to Delaney, Ruddock, and Putt halls today. More students arrive tomorrow, to move in to the Northern Suites, Stephenson Hall, Wallwork Hall, and the Suites on Maple East, and the rest of the student body arrives over the weekend.
The Welcome Weekend events continue through Sunday, with a number of social events and orientation activities before classes begin on Monday.
IUP President Michael Driscoll will offer his annual address opening the academic year at 9 AM tomorrow at Fisher Auditorium. The morning’s activities tomorrow will also include the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new North Dining Hall, on the former location of Keith Hall.
