From the IUP football front, the Crimson Hawks remain No. 4 in the regional rankings.
Despite a loss last weekend, Notre Dame of Ohio stayed at No. 3 behind Kutztown and Slippery Rock, who play for the PSAC title on Saturday. Sheperd is in fifth place.
The Hawks did move up one spot to No. 18 in the national rankings.
Also, cornerback Noz Streater has been named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week. Streater intercepted two passes and broke up three more against Edinboro on Saturday. He also returned three kickoffs for 92 yards.
Streater leads the PSAC with five interceptions and is tied for first with 14 total passes defended.
