The Penguins weren’t spot-on, but they managed to break their two-game losing streak last night against Minnesota. Paul Steigerwald reports.
Coach Mike Sullivan says the Pens were just good enough.
Sullivan appreciated the contributions of Teddy Blueger, who skated in his second game back after missing time due to a training camp injury.
Sidney Crosby had a four-point night, with two goals and two assists. He said the power play goal that came right after Minnesota tied the game was the key to the game.
Defenseman P.O. Joseph returned to the ice for the Pens last night after missing three games with an undisclosed injury.
After playing in Winnipeg tomorrow night, the Pens visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night. Then they will play six of their next seven games at PPG Paints Arena.
