A number of defendants will be sentenced in Indiana County Court today, four of them for methamphetamine cases.
45-year-old William Scott Meagher will be sentenced for possession with intent to manufacture and possession ephedrine. In a separate case, he pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals. Meagher was listed with two different addresses in the separate case, Homer City and New Florence.
36-year-old Chad Dean Cahill of Indiana will be sentenced in a methamphetamine case. He was found guilty of four felonies and three misdemeanors related to operating a meth lab. In another methamphetamine case, Cahill will be sentenced for possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, also a felony.
In another meth case, 32-year-old Amanda Malloy of Robinson pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to manufacture and misdemeanor possession of ephedrine.
34-year-old Christopher Adams Sr. of Somerset pleaded guilty to possession with intent to manufacture in another meth case.
39-year-old Mark Ruffolo Jr. of Schellsburg, Bedford County, will be sentenced for possession with intent to deliver.
27-year-old William Shumaker Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland will be sentenced for DUI controlled substance, DUI impaired driving, and three summary traffic offenses.
Other defendants to be sentenced today are:
- 24-year-old Solomon Akpor-Mensah of Easton, PA, will be sentenced for simple assault.
- 32-year-old Shawn Acklin, who has no listed address, will be sentenced for retail theft.
- 34-year-old Justin David Jones, for whom no address is given, will be sentenced for theft by deception, and in a second case, for retail theft.
- 32-year-old Nathan Deitman of Indiana will be sentenced for retail theft.
