Indiana Borough Police are investigating a shooting that took place early yesterday morning. No one was reported injured.
Police received multiple reports of shots fired in the 400 block of South Fisher Avenue at about 2:23 AM. They found evidence indicating multiple rounds were fired from a handgun, causing damage to a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Three witnesses saw males running from the area right after the shots were heard.
Borough police were assisted by IUP police at the scene. The investigation remains active and police say there is no current threat to public safety.
