Only a handful of outages remain in Indiana County from the damage done by the Halloween windstorm that came through the county.
As of this morning, only 17 Penelec Customers are without power, as crews are continuing to make repairs in Banks, Canoe and West Wheatfield Township and in Glen Campbell Borough. Power is expected to be restored by 8:00 tonight.
Penelec estimates that nearly 50,000 of their customers across the service area were without power at some point during the windstorms.
No power outages are reported for REA energy, as they had about 6000 customers without power at the peak of the storms. Power was restored to most of Indiana County around 1:00 PM on Friday.
