Indiana borough police have charged a man with theft in the early morning hours on Halloween. Police say that at 12:27 AM on the 31st, they investigated a case of retail theft at the Sheetz on Wayne Avenue. 23-year-old Alex Smith was accused of stealing two cans of beer and an energy drink from the store. He was taken into custody and issued a citation for retail theft. Upon receiving the citation, he was released.
