Agnes Louise Black Brunner, 74, of Homer City, went home with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019.
A daughter of the late Nicholas Oscar Black, Sr. and Edna June Soulchin Black, she was born April 9, 1945 in Indiana, Pa.
Agnes loved her family dearly and always looked forward to family gatherings whether it was a holiday or last-minute cookout. Her faith was strong and her heart was golden, always giving to those in need. With a love of the outdoors, she enjoyed gardening, landscaping and camping to name just a few.
She retired last year from the Shelocta Family Presbyterian Church. She also worked many years as a Certified Nurse Assistant at various nursing homes in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
She is survived by her children, who will miss her smile and unconditional love: Cathy L. (Krugh) Henry, of Indiana; John D. Krugh, Jr., of Marion Center; Randy M. Krugh, of Homer City; Pamela R. (Krugh) Krostyne and husband Michael, of Pittsburgh; and Gregory W. Krugh and wife Stacey, of Ellwood City; her grandchildren: Jeffrey, Shawna, Bryan, Tracy, John III, Heather, Kyle, Brandon, Elise, Victoria, Madison, and Gracie; her great grandchildren: Haylee, Connor, Casey, Benjamin Jr., Nolan, Xayden, Ariyah and Avery. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra L. (Black) Reeger; her brother, John R. Black; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary LeRoy Krugh; and a brother, Nicholas Oscar Black, Jr.
Friends and family will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., with the Rev. Kathy Nice officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Oakland Cemetery. A celebration of life dinner will follow at the Shelocta Family Presbyterian Church.
