PSP-INDIANA
Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on Route 422 on October 12th. State police say that the crash was on Route 422 near the intersection with West Pike Road. A motorcycle with two riders was on West Pike Road when the driver failed to negotiate the on-ramp and hit a concrete curb on the side of the road. The two riders were flown by life flight to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police believe that the rider, who was not named, was driving under the influence of alcohol.
No one was hurt in a crash early Wednesday morning in White Township. State police say that 32-year-old Steven Diveley was going North on Route 119 about a half a mile south of the Creekside exit near Lutz School Road. The vehicle was in the left lane when a deer came on the roadway. The car hit the deer, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. Diveley was able to bring the car to a stop on the East berm of 119.
CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE
Police in Clymer borough have filed charges of drug paraphernalia possession after a traffic stop on Saturday. Police say that an officer pulled over a driver, who was not identified, in the Kwik Fill parking lot on Franklin Street. When the officer approached the driver’s side of the car, he noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking pipe under the passenger seat. The driver was charged.
