Arthur L. Pounds, 79, of Indiana, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at his home.
A son of the late Olive Louise Pounds Hinton, he was born April 14, 1940, in Indiana.
Mr. Pounds was a graduate of Penns Manor High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force until 1962. He was retired from Fisher Scientific. Mr. Pounds liked going to antique car show, operating a ham radio and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy L. Martin Pounds, of Indiana; two sisters: Jeane Hinton, of Penn Run; Marge Stiffler and husband Terry, of Penn Run; a sister-in-law, Helen Martin, of Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and Sneaky the cat.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Floyd Hinton.
Visitation and services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Steve Rearick officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Robinson-Lytle, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
