A seventh bargaining session is scheduled today between the State System of Higher Education and APSCUF, representing coaches at the fourteen state-owned universities.
The two sides last met on October 7th, with the union reporting some progress, but “quite a bit of work to do.” The coaches remain on the job working under the terms of a contract that expired on June 30th.
Meanwhile, there is still no announced timetable for ratification votes on a new contract for State System faculty. A four-year tentative agreement was announced on September 19th after five consecutive days of negotiations.
