Indiana Borough Police say a 39-year-old man was taken into custody after an investigation into a case where the man is accused of touching a child inappropriately.
Police started their investigation into Douglas Walter Hutchins on September 6th after receiving notification from Indiana County Children and Youth Services. The investigation revealed that the incident happened in an apartment in the 700 block of Philadelphia Street. Hutchins came into contact with a person under 13-years-old, and the incident was reported as inappropriate touching.
Hutchins now faces charges of corruption of minors and indecent assault. He is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting his preliminary arraignment.
