Gas prices across Pennsylvania are holding steady for the time being.
According to Triple-A East Central, the state-wide average gas price is $2.75 a gallon. That average has held at that level for the last week but over the last month, prices have gone down six cents.
Indiana County’s average gas price is $2.85 a gallon and among our neighboring counties, that is the highest gas price average. The lowest is in Jefferson County, as it is now at $2.78 a gallon, with Clearfield County marking a $2.79 a gallon level. Westmoreland County is at $2.81 a gallon, with Cambria at $2.82 a gallon, and Armstrong is at $2.83.
The highest gas price average reported is in the Erie region, with an average of $2.87 a gallon, while the Altoona region has the lowest average cost at $2.60 a gallon.
