Today is the Love of Life 5k and runners are getting ready to take to the course to help out IRMC’s Love of Life Campaign.
The campaign helps breast cancer treatment efforts at Indiana Regional Medical Center and this year, Heather Reed with the Indiana Healthcare Foundation said the efforts from the Love of Life campaign will go towards a specific purchase.
This year has turned into a popular event with an anticipated 500 participants for the run.
Runners are gathering on South 8th street near the intersection with Philadelphia Street with the race is to begin at 9am. Runners will head out towards Mack Park, the IRMC campus and then back.
