In Indiana County Court today, there are motions hearings for several defendants with upcoming trials.
Judge William Martin will consider motions in the case of 34-year-old Lamar Clemons of Indiana, who is charged with manufacture with intent to deliver, deposits of chemical waste, possession of a controlled substance, and operating a meth lab.
Clemons is seeking to suppress evidence in the case based on a claim of illegal search and seizure. The charges were filed after state police found him at a home on Josephine Avenue in White Township in March, and also discovered a one-pot methamphetamine lab. Police had been searching for Clemons for a separate case, in which he is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. He’s scheduled for a non-jury trial on October 28th on those charges.
Also today, pretrial motions will be considered for 42-year-old Ryan Wheeler of Ernest, who is charged with endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering, disorderly conduct, two counts of driving under the influence, careless driving and two possession offenses
Judge Martin will also consider pretrial motions filed by 28-year-old Dalton Davis of New Derry, formerly of Homer City, who is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
Motions will also be heard in the case of 29-year-old Michael Barnacle, who is charged with driving under the influence and five summary traffic offenses.
