The PIAA Cross Country Championships are tomorrow in Hershey.
In Class A, District 6 girls champion Marion Center sends its entire team of Kenadee Elkin, Mikayla Gatskie, Brynnley Haggerty, Claire Hood, Maggie Hood, Reagan Ryen, Camryn Sacco, and Brooke Slade. Other Class A Heritage Conference girls runners at the state meet are Portage’s Alex Chobany, River Valley’s Alexandria Kepple, United’s Sarah Marshall, and West Shamokin’s Riley Schreckengost.
Indiana’a Addy Fry runs in the girls Double-A race.
For Boys Class A, the entire Marion Center team runs as the District 6 runnerup, led by three-time Heritage Conference champion Tim Barrett. The Stingers also send Seth Boring, John Ferraro III, Dillon Green, Rayden Long, Cameron Pack, Evan Risinger, and Adam Ryer. Other Class A runners from the Heritage Conference are Brock Eckenrode of Cambria Heights and United’s Colton Henning.
Indiana’s Jon Berzonsky and Seth Weaver will run in the boys Double-A meet.
