IUP’s Homecoming weekend kicks off this evening with a concert at the Kovalchick Complex, featuring rappers DaBaby, Lil Mosey, and Polo G, and there are special considerations in place for the event.
Doors will open at 7 for the 8 o’clock concert. Items that will not be permitted are food and beverages, alcohol and drugs, weapons, knives, selfie sticks, professional cameras, video cameras, vape pens and lighters, bags, purses, or backpacks.
All concert-goers will go through electronic screening, and the university advises you to arrive early, as lines will form at both entrances. Portions of Pratt Drive around the KCAC will close to vehicle traffic today and tomorrow.
There will be no re-entry if concert-goers choose to leave the venue.
