Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas will be very busy today with several formal arraignment hearings today, including some for a man who face charges in four separate incidents while in prison.
Court documents show that Ryshawn Crawford will have hearings today for four incidents that have happened while he was in prison. They include aggravated assault by a prisoner, simple assault, strangulation and other crimes. Crawford is from Philadelphia and is serving five to ten years at SCI Pine Grove in Indiana for robbery. Three of the cases date back to March of this year, while a fourth case dates back to June of this year.
Also facing a formal arraignment today is Leann Louise Goss of Indiana, who is charged with child endangerment and drug-related crimes for an incident on July 25th in her home on Lincoln Avenue. Police said at the time that Goss had left her one-year-old grandson out of sight for an undetermined amount of time, and police say in that time, the boy got a hold of her vaping device in the bedroom nightstand and ingested THC, which is the main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. When she found the boy surrounded by vape smoke, she called 911. Her hearing is set for 1:15 in front of Judge Clark.
