UPDATE: State troopers say that the driver, who was identified only as a 49-year-old Johnstown man, was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. He was flown to Forbes Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED:
More information has been provided concerning a crash that happened late Saturday night in Rayne Township.

The crash was reported at 7:40 PM on Route 119 North, with Marion Center and Creekside fire departments, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police summoned to the scene. Marion Center fire officials say that a single vehicle sheared an electric pole. The road was closed and traffic was redirected for about eight hours while repairs were made to the electric pole. The vehicle took on severe damage. No word yet on the condition of the driver, who was flown from the scene to a nearby hospital by medical helicopter.
State Police have not yet issued a report on the crash.
