Indiana County Sheriffs have apprehended a Saltsburg man who is wanted in Georgia on several outstanding felony warrants.
On Thursday, Sheriffs took 59-year-old Richard St. John into Custody on felony arrest warrants issued by Effingham County, Georgia. He was wanted on charges related to child molestation, sexual battery against a child under 16, cruelty to children-criminal negligence by causing excessive physical or mental pain in the 1st degree, and electronically furnishing obscene material to minors. The charges were filed by the Effingham County Sheriffs in Springfield, Georgia.
St. John was committed to the Indiana County Jail by District Judge George Thachick and held on $75,000 bond awaiting extradition to Georgia.
