ESPN reports the Steelers have traded a 5th round draft pick for Seattle Seahawks tight end Nick Vannett.
Steelers tight end Vance McDonald left Sunday’s loss at the San Francisco 49ers because of a shoulder injury and he was seen Tuesday with his shoulder in a sling.
A former third-round pick out of Ohio State, Vannett has 48 receptions for 463 yards and four touchdowns in 42 career NFL games.
Pittsburgh meets the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night. Both teams are winless at 0-3.
