The Pirates had a seven-run 7th inning behind five Chicago errors, as the Bucs ended their nine-game losing streak, beating the Cubs, 9-2, last night at PNC Park.
The Cubs lost their seventh game in a row. Francisco Liriano picked up the win. Kevin Kramer drove in two runs with a big double and Erik Gonzalez homered.
