A goal by the Red Wings in overtime gave Detroit a 3-2 win over the Penguins on Sunday in preseason play.
Brian Dumoulin and Jared McCann scored for the Penguins. With about two minutes remaining in 3-on-3 overtime, Madison Bowey fired a shot over goaltender Tristan Jarry’s glove, giving Detroit the win. Jarry made 22 saves on 25 shots for an .880 save percentage.
The two teams will meet Wednesday night at 7 pm in Pittsburgh.
